So, these are just some of the plans Mikie has in her vision for a better New Jersey:

Affordability: Mikie knows that kitchen table bills are getting too high — and as a mom of four, she’s no stranger to the skyrocketing cost of groceries. No family should have to consider leaving New Jersey because they can’t afford it here. That’s why Mikie’s plan focuses on fighting for tax relief, cracking down on price gouging, and making everything from housing to healthcare more affordable.

Energy: Addressing our environmental needs, lowering our energy costs, and making our energy grid cleaner don’t have to be in tension. That’s why on Day One, Mikie’s going to declare a State of Emergency on Utility Costs and end the utility rate hikes. She’ll also require more transparency from our utility companies, and rush in cleaner, cheaper energy to drive down bills.

Transportation: It's no secret that right now, public transit systems in New Jersey are causing too many headaches. Mikie is committed to creating affordable, accessible public transportation that our families and commuters can rely on, and she’ll do that by finding new revenue sources for our mass transit, like advertising and transit-oriented development, and by fighting the Trump administration to protect funding for the Gateway Tunnel Project.
