I think the NRCC might be… a little obsessed with me. (And, in case, these MAGA Republicans don’t know: Derek Tran and I are not twins).

This is projection, plain and simple. Republicans control every branch of government right now, but they’re still pushing this absurd lie that Democrats like me are to blame for the shutdown. Who actually believes that?

Here’s the truth:

Under a Republican majority, our soldiers are getting stiffed.

Under a Republican majority, families are paying more than ever before for groceries, clothes, and everyday essentials.

Under a Republican majority, millions of Americans are living in fear — the fear that if they speak out or say the wrong thing, the wannabe-king in the White House will get them fired, arrested, or worse.

You have my word: I’m fighting like hell to re-open our government, bring down the cost-of-living, and place a real check on Donald Trump’s authoritarian takeover.

But in a toss-up district like CA-47, I can’t do it on my own. If we want to take back Congress next year, ALL of us need to put in the work — and that starts with keeping our grassroots fundraising on track. Please, if you’re able, can you chip in just a few dollars to help me fend off every Republican attack they throw my way?

It’s clear MAGA Republicans are literally throwing everything at the wall to see what sticks, so thank you for chipping in and helping our team push back.
