 I have no patience for extreme politicians who are only interested in driving us apart. And John, I know you don’t either. Today, there are far too many politicians willing to throw their constituents under the bus just to score political points. But to be completely honest, this divisive approach to politics isn’t going away. It’s spreading all across the country — and it’s knocking on Pennsylvania’s doors at this very second. John, I’ve always made it my mission to bring people together, tackle challenges we face head-on, and get stuff done for Pennsylvanians. Those are the values my parents taught me — and they’re the same ones I’ve taught my own children. That’s why I’ve worked so hard over the last three years as Governor to ignore the distractions, get the work done, and help as many people as I possibly can. I know that sounds pretty simple — but to me, that’s exactly what public service is all about. Not driving folks apart. And certainly not propping up a select few at the expense of others.
