Adelita Grijalva made history in Arizona — winning her election and becoming the first Latina to represent the state in Congress.

But Speaker Mike Johnson is refusing to swear her in.

Why? Because the second Adelita takes her oath, she becomes the 218th signature to force the release of the Epstein files. Johnson doesn’t want that to happen, so he’s blocking her and silencing more than 800,000 Arizonans in the process.

I know how important every single seat is in this fight. And I also know this: when Republicans violate due process, hide the truth, and disenfranchise voters, it’s up to us to call it out and push back.
