John, let’s get one thing straight:

American cities are not military zones. 

They are not at war with our country or each other. They are not the enemy within. 

They are not military backdrops for presidential photo ops. 

The military is there to defend us against foreign threats, and the National Guard can step up during natural disasters like forest fires or hurricanes. 

Not this sh*t.

And yet Trump is calling for our military to use our cities as “training grounds.” He claims he’s trying to keep us safe, but we all know he’s just trying to get a photo op and play tough guy. That’s why I’m asking:

Will you add your name alongside mine in the fight against Trump's misuse of our military? This abuse of power is clear, illegal, and unconstitutional — we can’t let him get away with it.

Donald Trump made his true motives for the deployment of our military in Los Angeles plain. Instead of improving safety, he is focused on spectacle; instead of protecting Americans, he is punishing cities and states he believes are against him. 

Trump’s abuse of power is clear, illegal, and unconstitutional.

Enough is enough, John. Sign my petition to fight back against Trump’s misuse of our military now.
