Another Republican in addition to Ken Paxton entered the race to challenge John Cornyn this week.
Politico is calling their primary “a multi-stage train wreck in the most expensive state on the map in the midterms.”
We need to take advantage of this moment and build a strong foundation now.

Right-wing super PACs are rushing in to try to save Cornyn. They’re running millions of dollars worth of ads to try to put an end to the primary and buy this seat.
There’s no doubt that they’ll be willing to spend ten times as much in a general election. Like Politico said, Texas is the most expensive state on the 2026 map.
The good news is — we don’t have to match them dollar-for-dollar. But we do need a people-powered movement to lay the groundwork right now and be ready for whatever is thrown at us.
