Working Families Party

John

Before we get into it — here’s the move:

Pledge to watch Bad Bunny at the Super Bowl.

If we hit 10,000 signatures, we’ll host community Super Bowl watch parties across the country — celebrating Boricua pride, culture, and our collective resistance.

Pledge to watch

Here’s why:

Billboard just announced that Bad Bunny will be honored as the Top Latin Artist of the 21st Century at the 2025 Billboard Latin Music Awards — a title earned through record-breaking music, movement, and pride.

And at the same time?

Team MAGA is melting down because the NFL chose him to headline the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said the NFL “won’t be able to rest.” Mike Johnson called it “terrible.” President Trump said, “I don’t know who he is.”

Let’s be honest — it’s not about the music. It’s about a powerful, proud, Puerto Rican refusing to perform for their politics.

Last week on Saturday Night Live, Bad Bunny spoke in Spanish:

"To all Latinos and Latinas around the world and here in the United States, to all the people who have worked to open doors — more than just my achievement, it's everyone's achievement, proving that no one can ever erase our mark and our contribution to this country."

Those words hit home. Just a few days earlier, on September 20, my Puerto Rican family lost our matriarch — my Abuela Zenaida, who was 97 years old. I think about her strength, how hard she worked to build a life for our family. I think about what family and community mean to Latinos everywhere — and how often we are denied our full humanity in this country.

So when Bad Bunny took that stage, I felt pride. Because our stories, our love, and our power deserve to be seen.

When Bad Bunny speaks Spanish on SNL, that’s liberation. When he turns down U.S. tour dates under Trump’s deportation agenda, that’s resistance. When he headlines the biggest show on Earth, that’s our joy — and they can’t stand it.

Now MAGA world is planning their own “alternative" halftime show. So we're drowning out their hate by coming together to support Boricua culture, community, and joy. Will you join us?

Pledge to watch Bad Bunny at the Super Bowl.

Pledge to watch

Because when we show up in joy, we show our power.

They can’t cancel that.

En solidaridad,

Nelini Stamp
