Team.

As you read this, our affiliate, the National Redistricting Foundation (NRF), is involved in court cases in five states that could decide the makeup of 10 congressional districts in the 2026 midterms. These cases are ongoing, and those of us in the fair maps movement need to be ready to respond to any court-ordered changes.

When courts make changes, we need to be ready to respond and provide voters the information they need to make their voice heard. It’s not hyperbole to say that our work over the next few weeks could determine a lot about the lay of the land heading into the midterm elections.

The courts are an underappreciated tool for fighting back to preserve our democracy. That’s why All On The Line’s affiliates are filling this gap and stepping up to fight this battle in the courts, and why All On The Line closely monitors those cases to provide updates and be poised to respond.

We know that our justice system is the final backstop of our democracy — a powerful complement to the grassroots work we’re proud to lead. We have to be able to get the word out when our courts protect voters, and respond to any changes that may happen from litigation. We can’t afford to let up at a moment when so much is at stake.

You have the power to support our pro-democracy organizing today. Help us continue to pursue fairness in our democratic system — no matter what craven politicians in state legislatures and Washington do next. → [link removed]

In Texas, the NRF and its affiliates are fighting in court against the mid-decade gerrymander that discriminates against Black and Brown Texans and was drawn at the direction of Donald Trump.

In Missouri, NRF-supported plaintiffs filed a legal challenge against the state’s new, mid-decade congressional gerrymander the moment the governor signed it into law.

And in Louisiana, Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act is at stake in a critical Supreme Court case that could determine the fate of a congressional seat, not to mention the legal cornerstone of the fair maps movement.

Meanwhile, states across the nation are under pressure from Washington to force through their own mid-decade redraws. Fighting back against this pressure and being ready to respond to new court decisions with grassroots power requires enormous resources, and we can’t afford to come up short anywhere.

Will you make a generous contribution to All On The Line to power our fight wherever we’re needed next? → [link removed]
