If you’re not from here you may not know this, friend, but Illinois is one of the nation’s leaders in producing the soybeans that feed the world.

There are over 43,000 soybean farmers in Illinois. Just this year, it was named our state bean.

Now, as you might know, Donald Trump’s tariffs have severely hurt our farmers, driving business elsewhere. Just recently, our #1 trade partner for soybeans turned to Argentina instead of us.

But amazingly, while the government has been shut down and farmers are going bankrupt, Republicans have sent $20 billion to Argentina, where their president just used part of the money to host a rock’n’roll concert.

There’s nothing “America First” about this. It’s wasteful, cruel use of our taxpayer dollars to play an international game of footsie with a president Trump likes.

We have to demand that our tax dollars go to our citizens, especially those being directly harmed by Republicans’ reckless cuts to crucial programs.

I’m raising Hell about this, and I hope you’ll join me:

Add your name to demand that our tax dollars go to programs that benefit us – like affordable healthcare and agricultural support – not far-right, foreign allies.

Add Your Name

Proud to do the work of the American people, not just my friends.
