Praise God for IJM Kenya’s opportunity to lead a nationally televised Town Hall Dialogue on Citizen TV, Kenya’s largest broadcaster. Our Country Director joined a panel of government leaders to spotlight findings from our baseline survey and call for urgent reforms to address police abuse and strengthen justice systems. The event brought together policymakers, survivors, faith leaders and everyday Kenyans, sparking meaningful nationwide dialogue. Please pray for clarity, courage and lasting impact as we continue advocating for truth, accountability and transformation.
Latin America
Glory to God for IJM Bolivia and a new partnership with Raise Up Woman Foundation that will ensure continued care for survivors of sexual and physical violence. We praise God for uniting hearts for justice and ask for His guidance as this alliance grows to protect and restore even more lives.
South Asia
Praise God for proactive government officials who rescued 37 people from trafficking before they could be enslaved. These impoverished families had been lured with the promise of good jobs in a nearby district, but realized something was wrong when their "recruiter" drove them for hours across state lines. They managed to contact authorities, who recognized this as human trafficking and swiftly intervened. Police have filed robust charges against the traffickers, and the rescued families are heading home safely.
Asia Pacific
We praise God for the Philippines earning Tier 1 status in the 2025 Trafficking in Persons Report, marking a decade of global recognition for its leadership in anti-trafficking efforts. We pray for continued momentum as the Philippines works to strengthen local government roles and expand specialized care for survivors, especially children. Join us in praying that survivor voices will shape policies and programs, bringing this fight closer to the finish line.
