Tell Congress to Pass a “Clean” Budget!

As Congress prepares to negotiate budget appropriations amid the COVID-19 pandemic and long overdue demands for racial justice, we must ensure that our leaders prioritize protecting public health. The last thing we need from Congress during these challenging times are bailouts for polluters or weakening of our environmental laws through sneaky, dirty policy riders. We need a budget that works for the people.

Waterkeeper Alliance, alongside Miami Waterkeeper and Marañón Waterkeeper, will be profiled in the upcoming season of The Visionaries, the award-winning public television series hosted by acclaimed actor Sam Waterston. The Visionaries will begin airing on PBS stations across the country this summer, but you can watch the episode now and listen to a live Q&A with featured participants Marc Yaggi, Rachel Silverstein, and Bruno Monteferri.
