Plenty to dig into today. California has officially taken aim at some
of the most popular handguns in America—Governor Gavin Newsom just
signed a law banning the sale of most Glocks and other so-called
“convertible pistols,” set to take effect in 2026.
In Missouri, both an armed 14-year-old suspect and his intended victim
were shot during a botched robbery. On the product side, Staccato just
launched the HD C3.6, bringing duty-grade 2011 performance to a
24-ounce carry pistol. And the Second Amendment Foundation filed its
second lawsuit challenging the National Firearms Act following
Congress’s repeal of the $200 tax.
