MAGA Republicans would love nothing more than to turn Minnesota red and completely remake it in Donald Trump’s vision. And the lineup of radical candidates that have assembled to run against Governor Walz is clear proof.

Here are just some of the candidates who have declared a run for governor, or are actively considering one:

Scott Jensen: former state senator and 2022 Republican nominee, Jensen is a far-right extremist whose conspiracy theories and lies about vaccines got him banned from Tiktok twice, and who wants to ban abortion entirely in Minnesota.

Kristen Robbins: a MAGA Republican state representative who has fought nonstop to block Governor Walz’s whole agenda, including common sense proposals like paid family leave and free school lunches for children.

Mike Lindell: CEO of MyPillow and arguably America’s biggest 2020 election denier other than Trump himself, Lindell is as crooked and extreme as they come, having been found guilty in multiple defamation cases related to his lies about voting machines in 2020.

That’s quite the rogues gallery. No matter which one you pick, you end up with a radical right-wing agenda that will be disastrous for working Minnesotans and bend a knee to Trump’s every wish.
