Many of the crimes that George Santos was convicted of such as grossly misusing his campaign’s funds, Boebert has been accused of too. Earlier this year, Boebert was caught spending over $6000 in campaign donor money on traveling to and attending a Kid Rock concert in Texas. In 2021 she was caught overcharging her campaign $22,000 for gas reimbursements - an amount so egregious that it meant she would’ve had to circumnavigate the globe multiple times to have used that much gas. When Boebert looks at the Santos case, she knows, there but for the grace of God, go I. It could just as easily be her in that cell and someday it might.
