 Hey there — we know it’s a Friday, but we wanted to catch you before you log off for the weekend. Look, Election Day is just 25 days away, and there are a couple things we think you should know about the state of our campaign as we head into the final stretch of this race. And when we’re done, we hope you’ll consider pitching in to help us elect Mikie Sherrill and Democrats up and down the ballot.
1) The latest polls in this election continue to show a tight race between Mikie and her far-right opponent. This race is functionally tied, and there’s still thousands of New Jersey voters who have yet to make up their mind on who they’re supporting for governor — more than enough to swing the result either way. That’s why our team is going to be spending the next 25 days working as hard as we can to reach undecided voters all across New Jersey with Mikie’s vision for our state. 2) We’re facing an onslaught of attacks from Jack Ciattarelli and his far-right allies. Super PACs supporting Ciattarelli have poured millions of dollars into smearing Mikie’s character. Donald Trump has been personally attacking Mikie on social media, which means we can expect even more MAGA money to flood this race as we near Nov. 4. In the final stretch of this campaign, we need to have the funds to fight back. 3) Voter registration ends in four days, and we need to make sure that we’re getting every single one of our supporters to the polls and casting a ballot for Mikie Sherrill and Democrats across the state. Our GOTV operation is in full swing, but every dollar counts towards mobilizing our base and rallying as much support as we possibly can.
