Congressional Republicans didn't just shut down the government — they blatantly turned their backs on Americans' health care.

Here in Colorado, community health centers that serve low-income families are running out of federal funding because of the GOP's inaction and failure to do their jobs.

These are the clinics that keep our neighbors healthy and care for children, seniors, working families, and people who depend on them every single day. Now, instead of being there for our communities, they're being forced to cut back services and worry about how they'll keep their doors open.

Make no mistake about it, Johh: Republicans control the White House, the Senate, and the House. Yet, they're choosing to hold our health care hostage instead of serving the Americans who hired them in the first place by funding the government. THIS is what their chaos costs, and it's hurting real people.

Speaker Mike Johnson and his caucus are playing political games while Colorado families are paying the price in real time, but enough is enough. I'm calling on Republicans to back off of our health care and reopen the government IMMEDIATELY. Coloradans deserve leaders who put people ahead of politics, not more manufactured crises that hurt patients and communities.
