Dear Democrats,
I’m writing to you today with urgency and resolve. Right now, the recent indictments of Attorney General Letitia James and former FBI Director James Comey — stand as a stark warning: the Trump-aligned Department of Justice is being weaponized against political opponents.
These cases aren’t happening in isolation. They follow a pattern — a coordinated effort to silence, intimidate, and dismantle those who stand up for democracy. If we don’t push back now, the same tactics could be used against anyone who dares to hold power to account.
Why Broward Democrats need you right now
Let’s face the truth. Rallies, protests, social media posts, and complaining aren’t going to solve these problems.
The hard truth isn’t sexy or loud — but it works. That solution is VOTING.
The only way to stop these no-good, self-serving politicians — who spend every day finding new ways to grift the American people by sowing fear, division, and hate — is to make sure voters turn out and hold them accountable at the ballot box.
These same extremists are working overtime to strip away healthcare, raise insurance premiums and taxes, and dismantle our public health system — all while telling Americans their enemies are anyone who looks, acts, or thinks differently.
And it’s not just happening in Washington. Every level of government is under attack. From Congress to the Florida Legislature, to city commissions and school boards, Republicans are recruiting and grooming future candidates right now.
Broward County is the last strong Democratic firewall in the state of Florida. Without Broward, Democrats have no path to victory for Governor, Attorney General, or Congress.
It’s up to ALL OF US to make sure all Democrats in Broward are:
The only way to do that is through direct engagement — human to human. That means knocking on doors, making phone calls, and meeting voters where they are at churches, community events, and local gatherings.
