URGENT: Ten Days Left to Comment on America First Legal’s Petition for a Rule Requiring Proof of Citizenship to Vote

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Americans have just ten days left to make their voices heard on America First Legal’s (AFL) petition with the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC) seeking a rule requiring proof of citizenship for federal voter registration.

Protecting election integrity is essential to preserving our republic, and this public comment period is a rare opportunity for the American people to help secure our elections and ensure only U.S. citizens vote.

The deadline for public comments is Monday, October 20, 2025.
