PFAW Member,

If Senate Republicans don’t pass the HEROES Act, then our right to safely
and securely vote in 2020 may be in jeopardy.

[ [link removed] ]Sign our petition NOW to demand that the Senate pass the HEROES Act to
provide much needed COVID-19 relief and protect our democracy! >>

Without the $3.6 billion in funding allocated in the HEROES Act to
safeguard our elections, millions of voters may be unable to vote safely
this November. And that is simply unacceptable.

The $3.6 billion in funding allocated specifically for improving our
elections systems nationwide would help expand online voter registration
and early voting, improve in-person safety measures, and greatly expand
voting by mail. All of these measures have already been proven this year
to help people vote safely during the pandemic in both Colorado and
Michigan.

If the rest of the country is going to implement these vital improvements
in time for the November general election, Congress needs to act now.

security in the HEROES Act in order to vote safely during COVID-19. >>

Senate Republicans have been wavering on whether they will even consider
the HEROES Act when they return from recess, having described the bill as
“dead on arrival” when it was passed by the House. Since then, however,
fractures have begun forming in the Republican front as they are faced
with mounting pressure from constituents who continue to suffer from the
pandemic and need urgent relief.

We must continue pressuring Senate Republicans to provide COVID-19 relief
for their constituents and make sure we are able to hold a safe and
accessible election in 2020!

To delay passage of the HEROES Act any longer could have disastrous
consequences for our democracy.
