Two years ago on October 7, 2023, Hamas unleashed pure evil on innocent men, women, and children. It was the deadliest attack on the Jewish people since the Holocaust.
Now, President Donald J. Trump went to the table and brokered a HISTORIC peace deal between Israel and Hamas. This is peace through strength in real time.
Under Phase One of the deal, a ceasefire is underway, and the remaining hostages are expected to be released within the next 72 hours. It’s the first real progress we’ve seen since that horrific October day.
This breakthrough is part of President Trump’s 20-Point Peace Plan — a bold, detailed roadmap for lasting stability in the Middle East. The plan focuses on:
- Ending and disarming Hamas of their arms and governance;
- Rebuilding Gaza under regional oversight;
- And establishing a dialogue between Israel and the Palestinians with the goal of agreeing on a political horizon for peaceful and prosperous coexistence.
In just the last eight months, this leadership from the Trump Administration has helped deliver peace deals between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Cambodia and Thailand, Rwanda and the DRC, India and Pakistan, Israel and Iran, and Egypt and Ethiopia.
And the American people are taking notice. This Monday, a poll showed 56% of Americans support President Trump’s peace plan. They know what strength looks like. They know the results when they see them.
As we mark this path toward peace, may we remember the victims, pray for the hostages still waiting to come home, and stand shoulder to shoulder with our brothers and sisters in Israel!
