Axios: Dominion Voting sold to company run by ex-GOP election official

Axios recently broke news that Dominion Voting Systems — makers of voting machines used in 27 states for elections across the country — has been sold to a Missouri-based company run by a former Republican election official.

Scott Leiendecker is the owner of KNOWiNK, which is changing its corporate name to "Liberty Vote", and has previously been appointed by Missouri officials to investigate the 2000 election and be "St. Louis' Republican election director."

Leiendecker told Axios in a statement that his company is "committed to delivering election technology that prioritizes paper-based transparency, security and simplicity so that voters can be assured that every ballot is filled-in accurately and fairly counted."
