Dear John,

Thank you for signing up to receive my email newsletter. These newsletters cover a variety of topics, including events happening in Indiana, legislation before the United States Senate, and my perspective on current issues. My hope is to keep you updated and informed on how issues in Washington may impact our state. I welcome your feedback.

Democrat-led Government Shutdown Continues

Image

This week, I joined Newsmax’s Wake Up America to discuss Day 9 of the Democrat-led government shutdown. Chuck Schumer and Senate Democrats’ reckless actions are hurting America’s servicemembers, their families, and the small businesses that serve military communities across the nation. The 2020 Census Was A Fraud!

Image

The 2020 Census was a fraud. The Biden admin used a shady “privacy” formula that scrambled the data and miscounted 14 states. It included illegal immigrants and handed Democrats extra seats. Americans deserve a fair count and I’m fighting to fix it. Click here to read my full letter and click here to watch me discuss on Real America's Voice.

My Wins For Indiana In The National Defense Bill

Image

I came to the Senate to deliver results for Indiana, and that’s exactly what this defense bill does. After fighting to secure key wins for our state, I’m glad to see it pass the Senate. These provisions strengthen our military, support Hoosier innovation, and give our servicemembers the tools they need to keep America safe.

Click here to review the provisions I secured in the Fiscal Year 2026 National Defense Authorization Act.

My New Zip Code Legislation

Image

I’ve heard from too many Hoosiers frustrated by mail delays and mix-ups. Our growing communities deserve their own ZIP Codes so families and businesses can count on reliable service.

My ZIP Code Bill gives fast-growing communities like Carmel, Lawrence, Noblesville, Westfield, and Zionsville their own ZIP Codes. Click here to learn more.

Forced Abortion Prevention and Accountability Act

Image

Because of the lack of oversight surrounding abortion pills, there are no proper checks in place on who is ordering these drugs and whether those individuals are providing accurate information.

This allows predators to obtain these drugs and slip them to expecting mothers without their consent.

In Texas, a man was charged with murder after secretly putting abortion pills in his girlfriend’s coffee just weeks after an ultrasound showed she was six weeks pregnant.
Sadly, not every state values the life of the unborn. Last year, a man in Washington was sentenced to not even a year in prison after he forced an abortion drug into a woman and killed her unborn child.

That is why I recently introduced the Forced Abortion Prevention and Accountability Act. My bill establishes strong federal penalties for anyone who knowingly and intentionally gives an abortion-inducing drug to a woman without her consent. If they cause serious injury to the woman, the penalties are tougher. My legislation also holds pharmacies and mail-order sellers accountable for shipping abortion pills without verifying the identities of who is ordering them.

My bill is endorsed by Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, Students for Life, American Principles Project, Concerned Women for America LAC, and National Right to Life Committee.

I will never stop fighting for pro-life policies that both protect women and defend the unborn.
