Dear Friend,

As the government shutdown continues, I wanted to provide an update with some election news out of Wisconsin.

Last year, Wisconsinites overwhelmingly approved a constitutional amendment, 70-30, to ban noncitizen voting. Last Friday, a Wisconsin judge upheld the voters’ will by ruling that the Wisconsin Elections Commission must verify the citizenship status of voters on our rolls and require proof of citizenship for all voters.

Right now, Wisconsin does not require proof of citizenship when individuals register to vote, such as a birth certificate, passport, or naturalization papers. Instead, voters simply check a box saying they’re a U.S. citizen. That opens the door to potential fraud, especially since some noncitizens in Wisconsin can receive driver’s licenses.

So the passage of this constitutional amendment and last week’s ruling are both major wins for election integrity in Wisconsin, and it’s something I have fought for with the SAVE Act in Congress.

Unfortunately, some liberals in Madison think that illegal aliens should stay on our voter rolls, including Wisconsin’s Democrat Attorney General Josh Kaul.

Shortly after the ruling, he asked the judge to halt the decision and is seeking to appeal it. You can read more about that here.

While this puts parts of the decision in limbo for now, please know that I will continue fighting to protect election integrity in Wisconsin and across America. Telegram readers know this has always been a priority for me. From pushing for clean voter rolls to investigating the Madison clerk for sending out duplicate ballots, I have worked to make our elections secure and honest.

Election integrity shouldn’t be partisan; it should be common sense. We must make it easy to vote and hard to cheat. Restoring confidence in our elections starts with ensuring that only U.S. citizens are voting.

Thanks again for starting off your weekend with us! We hope you enjoy this week’s edition of the Tiffany Telegram.

Sincerely,

Democrat shutdown update

We are now on day ten of the government shutdown, and today marks three weeks since the U.S. House passed a clean, bipartisan budget bill with no pork added to keep the government running. However, Senate Democrats have refused to pass it, shutting down the government for millions of Americans. They have several outrageous demands, including a $1.5 trillion spending hike and taxpayer-funded healthcare for illegal aliens. Senator Chuck Schumer even claimed this week that “every day gets better for us” in a shutdown. By “us,” he doesn’t mean the American people. The Trump administration is doing everything possible to keep the government running smoothly for our seniors, veterans, military, small businesses, and hardworking families across America. However, the longer this shutdown continues, the more difficult it becomes to ensure that essential services like military paychecks continue without interruption. I voted to keep the government open because I know how important it is to ensure that critical services and paychecks continue to be delivered. Even CNBC has grown frustrated with the Democrats’ unreasonable demands, which you can watch here. My office remains fully open and ready to assist you with any issues you may have with federal agencies.

Keeping the doors open for veterans
As the shutdown continues, one thing remains certain. The Trump administration is ensuring that America’s veterans will continue to have access to the care and benefits they earned. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) confirmed that nearly all VA hospitals, clinics, and the Veterans Crisis Line will remain open. Disability, pension, education, and housing benefits will continue to be paid, and national cemeteries will keep operating. There will be some programs, like career counseling and regional offices, that will pause until Congress restores funding. I will keep fighting to protect our veterans from Democrat-initiated chaos in Washington and make sure that those who served our country don’t bear the brunt of the far left’s partisan political antics. If you need help receiving your VA benefits, please get in touch with my office.

Biden's shameful surveillance of senators

We have known for years that the Biden-Harris administration weaponized federal agencies to target their ideological and political opponents, going after groups ranging from Catholics, pro-life activists, and gun owners. However, a new discovery from Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, along with the help of current FBI Director Kash Patel, uncovered a deeply disturbing Biden-era FBI investigation labeled “Operation Arctic Frost”. As a part of their politically-motivated investigation into President Trump, Special Counsel Jack Smith, former FBI Director Christopher Wray, and others at the Biden-Harris FBI illegally spied on and collected the personal phone data of nine lawmakers in Congress – including Wisconsin’s very own Senator Ron Johnson – as well as placing over 90 Republican-linked individuals and organizations under surveillance. These documents provided by Director Patel to the Committee has made it clear that Special Counsel Jack Smith’s investigation was nothing more than a fruitless, $50 million waste of taxpayers’ time and money. This kind of political surveillance and disgusting abuse of power does not reflect American values. Instead, they look more like the kind of politically motivated snooping you see in places like Communist China. Those responsible for this blatant abuse of political persecution must be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law, and barred from ever serving in government again.

The truth about the OBBB: Final Week

Over the past few months, we have been sharing some of the highlights of the Working Families Tax Cut that you may not be hearing about in the mainstream media. Not only does this historic bill give working Americans the largest tax cut ever – saving Wisconsin taxpayers an average of $3,183 in 2026 – but it provides the greatest relief to those earning $15,000 to $30,000, who will benefit from a 21% cut in their taxes. The Working Families Tax Cut also invests in rural healthcarereduces taxes on tips, overtime, and Social Security, and helps small businesses and manufacturers. Lastly, it puts money back in the pockets of hardworking Americans by rolling back the Green New Scam (2022), which has been driving up electricity rates. This legislation is a big win for the American people, and we will continue to build off it in Congress and deliver real relief to your pocketbooks.
