The City Council voted 6–1 to reject a contract with Flock Safety, a private surveillance giant that builds its business by helping police investigate women for abortions and aiding ICE in its mission to disappear people. This wasn't a bureaucratic decision; it was a powerful, defiant vote for privacy, freedom, and community.
This massive victory wasn't a miracle. It was organizing. It was the essential, on-the-ground work that Ground Game Texas does every single day.
