Folks, we have good news and bad news. We'll start with the bad news:
Just a couple of weeks ago, Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. promised Republican state attorneys general that the Food and Drug Administration would "review" the safety of the medication abortion mifepristone.
(AKA, he vowed to find any excuse for them to limit women's access to the proven-safe and effective pill...that has been used for the past 25 years.)
Now here's the good (actually, GREAT!) news:
Last week, the FDA quietly APPROVED a generic form of mifepristone, effectively expanding access to this critical reproductive care option!
But we can't start celebrating yet: According to the White House, RFK Jr. will continue his so-called study of mifepristone's "reported adverse effects" – and he's still the same unqualified anti-vaxxer chosen by Trump and Republicans to rubber-stamp their extreme agenda.
So before we go any further, Michael Bennet wants to know – do you trust RFK Jr. to protect women's reproductive health care?

We fully expect the findings of RFK Jr.’s "review" to be far from scientific, especially since the anti-abortion extremist wing of the GOP is livid over the FDA's ruling, and he is facing more pressure than ever to reverse course.
And, despite recent events, we have to remember: During his confirmation hearings, RFK Jr. swore to back Trump's anti-abortion agenda.
So with mifepristone BANNED in 14 states and threatened nationwide, as our next governor, Michael Bennet is set on keeping Colorado a safe haven for women's right to access safe and legal reproductive care – regardless of RFK Jr.'s next move.
But since he's running a people-powered campaign, he wants to make sure he's in line with his grassroots team on this important issue.
For statistical significance, we need to know how you and at least 9,999 more grassroots supporters feel about the issue by 11:59 p.m. tonight – so please, friend, respond immediately:
