Friend, it's Letitia James with an urgent update:

Donald Trump and his allies have appointed their own personal attack dog to indict me on their baseless allegations.

But these allegations are not grounded in fact. They're an act of retribution – part of their purely political attempt to silence me and stop me from holding the Trump administration accountable.

They think this is going to scare me. But they're wrong. 

The truth is I ran for attorney general to safeguard the vulnerable and voiceless and take on the most powerful and corrupt among us – and yes, that includes the president. 

That's the real reason why Trump is lashing out now. But I refuse to be intimidated – and I need to know if you're with me. Will you chip in $15 or whatever you can spare today so I can stand tall against these baseless attacks and keep fighting for justice in New York and beyond?
