Last night was the first and only gubernatorial debate ahead of Election Day, and shockingly, Winsome Earle Sears lied AGAIN about abortion access. Will it ever stop?

Here’s the direct quote:

“My opponent…has the extremist view, which is abortion up until the very hour that the baby could be born, up until the very minute – the very minute. And so you would have a baby aborted on the table. What do we do then, Abigail?”

Should she win, Winsome’s extremist rhetoric of abortion access will follow her to the Governor’s mansion. We cannot let that happen – please rush $25 or more now to support our work to elect pro-choice candidates this November. ([link removed])

Winsome is trying to spread misinformation about abortions to fearmonger her supporters into voting for her. But we know better – this is just her attempt to justify eroding or eliminating reproductive rights in Virginia. Abigail, on the other hand, is dedicated to supporting our constitutional amendment that ensures that every individual maintains control over their own bodies, health, and future, regardless of which political party is in charge.

Sears also claimed that banning gay marriage is not discrimination and frequently interrupted Abigail during the debate. It was clear that Winsome wants Virginia to fall in line with Trump’s extremist, MAGA views. We cannot let that happen.

In November, we have an opportunity to elect a pro-choice governor who will fight to protect abortion access once and for all, but we need your help.
