Dear AFGE Activist,

As this government shutdown drags on we know that the impact it is having on government workers across the country is devastating. We've heard reports that workers are now facing their first payday without their full paycheck — happening two weeks earlier than we anticipated.

This is another hardship levied at federal workers who've already been through so much since this administration took office. We know that as union members, it's critical that we have each other backs. As uncertainly continues to mount, we have organized a mutual aid project to help connect workers with resources and assistance. Click here to get connected with the AFGE Mutual Aid Network. You can also click here for the 2025 Shutdown Assistance Map created to help federal employees affected by the government shutdown.

Additionally, please visit the AFGE.org/StopTheShutdown website for the latest information, including materials on how to take action.

It is imperative that Congress do all it can to end this shutdown and deliver a funding deal that works for the American people. Click the button below to contact your lawmakers NOW!
