It’s not even 2026 and Republicans are already lining up MAGA candidates to run against me.
We knew this would happen. This district is one of the most competitive in the country — and after we made history here in 2022 and won again in 2024, national Republicans put a target on NM-02.
Now this race is getting serious.
National Republicans have been flooding this race with outside money and attack ads for months, and now they’re lining up their hand-picked candidates, raising tons of money, and laying the groundwork for another tough fight. But I’m a fighter, and I won’t back down.
We’ve beaten them before, John — because we had a people-powered campaign and a message that resonated with communities across southern New Mexico.
