John,
Farmers across Wisconsin are seeing strong soybean yields this year, but thanks to Donald Trump's reckless trade war, they don't know when they'll be paid or where their crops will go.
As Wisconsin farmer and Wisconsin Soybean Association President Doug Rebout told WPR: "Even if tariffs end, it could take 10 to 20 years to rebuild those relationships."
That's the real cost of political stunts — hardworking Wisconsin families paying the price.
Trump's tariffs might sound tough on TV, but here's what they really mean on the ground: rising costs for farm equipment, fertilizer, food, and everyday goods — and lost markets that farmers spent generations building.
Our farmers don't need more chaos from Washington. They need stability, fair trade, and leaders who will fight for them — not use them as pawns in a political game.
That's exactly why I'm running for Lieutenant Governor. Because Wisconsin deserves leaders who listen, lead, and deliver for working families.

More soon,
Sarah
