BREAKING: Ceasefire in Gaza just announced and IRC stands ready to scale-up aid. Start your monthly support right away »

John,

After two years of devastating conflict, a ceasefire has been announced in Gaza. We at the IRC welcome this critical first step toward peace–but for millions of civilians, the crisis is far from over.

Right now, 55,000 children are suffering from acute malnutrition and 90% of the population remains displaced. Access to food, fuel, water and medical care is still dangerously limited.

The IRC stands ready to seize this moment and deliver life-saving aid. We have more than 5 tons of medical supplies prepared to enter Gaza—and we will be scaling up protection, nutrition and water and sanitation services for families who have endured unimaginable hardship.

John, our work is just getting started. When you start a monthly gift today, your support can help sustain our work in places like Gaza for the many months ahead. Please start a monthly gift today. »
