It’s no secret that Donald Trump really, really, really, really, really wants a Nobel Peace Prize, because he’s jealous that Obama has one. Just yesterday, Lord Goldemort whined about it in the Oval Office, saying, "[Obama] got it for doing nothing. He didn't even know what he got it for." Donald's team and supporters have been heavily lobbying the Nobel Prize Committee to get him one for, what, exactly, is unclear. The seven wars he DIDN'T end? Who knows. Anyway, he’s not going to get one, LOL. Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado won the Nobel Peace Prize for her efforts to bring democracy back to Venezuela, celebrated as a woman "who keeps the flame of democracy burning amid a growing darkness." TheNobel Peace Prize Committee Chairman was even asked directly about Trump’s efforts to bully the committee into giving him the prize. The chairman replied, "This committee sits in a room filled with the portraits of all laureates and that room is filled with both courage and integrity. So we base only our decision on the work and the will of Alfred Nobel." The implication, of course, is that the MAGA cult leader has neither courage nor integrity…which he doesn't, of course. White House communications director Stephen Cheung issued a weepy response that would make Kim Jong-un blush, whining that the committee had “proved they place politics over peace” because they didn’t recognize Trump and cried that “He has the heart of a humanitarian, and there will never be anyone like him who can move mountains with the sheer force of his will." The depths of delusion are simply unfathomable. How does Trump think that he would be deserving of a Nobel Peace Prize for unleashing a secret police to crack skulls and drag women and children screaming from their homes in the middle of the night? What is PEACEFUL about indiscriminately and illegally bombing Venezuelan fishing boats and murdering everyone on board?

Another day, another bullshit indictment of one of the president's "enemies" on trumped-up charges brought by a handpicked Trump toady. James responded to the indictment by saying , "These charges are baseless, and the president’s own public statements make clear that his only goal is political retribution at any cost. The president’s actions are a grave violation of our Constitutional order and have drawn sharp criticism from members of both parties." It is unclear whether or not James' indictment or Comey's indictment have the legs to go anywhere, but it is not a great sign for the health of our republic when the our wannabe dictator is weaponizing the legal system to punish people who he thinks were mean to him.

Uh, nothing to see here folks, just the Health and Human Services secretary saying that he's going to be MAKING PROOF to justify his baseless conspiracy theories about Tylenol and autism, which — surprise! — now also somehow include circumcision. "Children who are circumcised early have double the rate of autism, and it's highly likely because they're given Tylenol," said Kennedy during one of Trump's monthly Cabinet ass-kiss-a-thons. While citing a number of debunked or discredited studies to justify his assertion that Tylenol causes autism, Kennedy said “It is not proof. We’re doing the studies to make the proof.” This is BEYOND dangerous and represents a dramatic escalation of the Trump administration’s war on facts and truth. If they're willing to create fake scientific studies to back up their conspiracy theories, what WON'T they lie about? We can't ever trust anything coming out of this administration again!

The colleague filed a complaint but later withdrew it, fearing retaliation. Ingrassia's nomination is already on the rocks due to his lack of experience and accusations of antisemitism. What a great bunch of guys! Definitely want to work with these people!

Trump’s war on the left: Inside the plan to investigate liberal groups
Spearheaded by psychotic weirdo Stephen Miller, the Trump team is planning to bring every hammer in the government toolbox — including the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security, the Justice Department, the Internal Revenue Service, and the Treasury Department — down on Democratic groups that they baselessly accuse of funding and organizing political violence. Miller is hellbent on directing the power of the government against left-leaning nonprofits and educational institutions, calling them "domestic terror networks." The list of targets could ultimately include George Soros' Open Society Foundations; ActBlue, the funding arm of the Democratic Party; Indivisible, a grassroots coalition opposed to Trump policies, the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights, a Los Angeles-based human rights group, and two Jewish nonprofits that oppose Israel's war in Gaza, IfNotNow and Jewish Voice for Peace. The idea that any of these groups are involved in organized political violence or domestic terrorism is absolutely preposterous. What’s very obvious is that Trump and Miller are terrified of the backlash once elections come around and the prospect of losing control of Congress — and they'll stop at nothing to destroy the civil society groups that Democrats use to organize, fundraise, and get out the vote.
