Friend,
Today is World Mental Health Day — a day that highlights the importance of mental health support and reminds us that the wounds we carry aren’t always visible and it’s important to take care of yourself.
Around the world, mental health issues are on the rise — a reality of life in every community, in every country, on every continent. Yet two-thirds of people living with mental health conditions don’t receive the care they need.
At Project HOPE, we believe mental health is health. That’s why we integrate mental health and psychosocial support into many of our global programs — from advocating for mental wellness as a human right, to providing crisis counseling in emergencies, to making sure health facilities are equipped to meet mental health needs in communities all over the world.
But it’s not just about the communities we serve. Your mental well-being matters, too, Friend.
That’s why today, in honor of World Mental Health Day, we encourage you to visit our Mental Health Resource Center — a digital space designed to help you pause, reflect, and take a positive moment for your mind.

Take a minute today to check in with yourself, Friend. By caring for our own mental health, we strengthen our ability to show up for others — and that is how, together, we create lasting hope.
Thank you.
