I hear you loud and clear: Life is too expensive. Families are working harder than ever, but thanks to Donald Trump’s reckless policies, the cost of everything from groceries to health care keeps climbing. That strain isn’t your fault — it’s the result of leaders who look out for their wealthy friends instead of middle-class families.

That’s why I got into public service in the first place. And it’s why I’m running for the U.S. Senate now — because Washington doesn’t need more politicians who protect the wealthy and powerful. It needs more people who are bold. Who knows what families are up against, and who have a record of actually delivering.

In Illinois, we’ve proven what’s possible when we put people first. With Governor Pritzker, we raised the minimum wage, eliminated the state grocery tax, made childcare more affordable, and brought down the price of prescription drugs. Those aren’t abstract policy wins — they’re real changes that make life just a little bit easier for working families. And I’m ready to take that same blueprint to the U.S. Senate to lower costs and expand opportunity nationwide.

Here’s my plan:

– End Trump’s trade war, which acts as a tax on working families

– Raise the federal minimum wage to $15 an hour

– Pass a middle-class tax cut, paid for by asking millionaires and corporations to pay their fair share

– Cut red tape and eliminate barriers that get in the way of families accessing affordable housing

– Make health care available to all Americans via Medicare for All

These aren’t empty promises — they come from experience, conviction, and a record of results. I’ve delivered for Illinois families, and I’ll deliver for working families across America.

But I can’t do it alone. Trump and his MAGA allies don’t want someone like me in the Senate — someone who isn’t afraid to call them out and fight for working people. That’s why I’m asking:
