When I heard of Charlie Kirk, he wasn’t famous. 

He wasn’t filling arenas. He wasn’t a household name. 

A few people told me, “You’ve gotta meet this guy — he’s doing something big out in Illinois.” 

So I went.  

Charlie was running Turning Point from a modest office in the Chicago suburbs — surviving on coffee and pure belief that America was still worth saving.

The early conferences and campuses. The road trips. The rallies. The fights. 

In those days, our team didn’t have much. But what we had was conviction — and that was more than enough. 

Because we believed in something BIG. Something real. Something urgent. 

Faith, family, freedom — and the absolute grit to go build something that could save this country. 

And Charlie? He did it. 

He didn’t just build a brand... He built a machine. 

First, Charlie built a movement that changed the hearts and minds of an entire generation — a seismic shift that flipped the narrative that young people belonged to the Left.

And, I hitched my wagon to it from the start. 

Charlie and I weren’t just friends...
