Friends,

For years, law enforcement has weaponized facial recognition technology against Black and brown people. This invasive and unregulated software doesn't make our country safer -- it only undermines civil liberties and further terrorizes communities of color, which are already disproportionately targeted and over-policed.

Pramila has not only called out corporations that sell facial recognition software to the government but she has also taken action in Congress to put an end to the use of this racist technology. Will you support her activism by signing our urgent petition demanding a moratorium on law enforcement's use of facial recognition software?

While IBM recently announced that it would no longer offer, develop, or research facial recognition software, we can't wait on other companies to do the right thing or handle this on a case-by-case basis. We must call for a moratorium to rein in the unregulated, invasive use of this technology by law enforcement.

Sign our petition to call for a ban on law enforcement's use of racist facial recognition software: [link removed]

Thank you for taking this critical action toward ending police violence and protecting civil liberties.
