The Bureau of Insurance was asked by the Joint Standing Committee on Health Coverage, Insurance and Financial Services to hold a series of stakeholder meetings regarding the effectiveness of the Maine Guaranteed Access Reinsurance (MGARA) program. The first public meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, November 4th at 1:00-2:00 p.m. ET.
This meeting will be open to the public, held in a hybrid format, and we expect at least one additional meeting scheduled for later in the fall.
