Why It Matters
Bill C-5, passed earlier this year, opens the door to a new era of nation-building under the Major Projects Office. But unless it guarantees good-paying, unionized jobs with real apprenticeship opportunities, we risk missing a once-in-a-generation opportunity to raise labour standards across the country.

Our message is simple:
* If federal dollars are paying for a project, those jobs must include a project labour agreement, should pay fair wages, and include training for the next generation of skilled tradespeople.
* Bill C-5 should match the standards already set in Bill C-59, which ties tax incentives to strong labour provisions.

How YOU Can Help:
1. Sign the letter to Prime Minister Mark Carney and Minister of Jobs and Families Patty Hajdu.
2. Share the letter with your fellow members, coworkers, and on social media.
3. Encourage your local to distribute it widely, every voice counts.

3. Encouragez votre section locale à la diffuser largement, chaque voix compte.
