Veteran's Dream Comes True Thanks to a VFW Scholarship

After transitioning out of the military, Cindy Hernandez began to pursue her dream of obtaining her master's degree in business administration but found that her military benefits didn't cover enough of her education. She happened to read an article about the VFW's "Sport Clips Help A Hero Scholarship," applied and received funding. “This scholarship has been a blessing,” said Hernandez. “I will now be graduating without any student loans.
