Good Evening Everyone,
Our monthly Executive Committee Meeting is Thursday, Occtober 16th. We will meet at 7pm at Mayfield Township Hall (1900 N Saginaw St). We have a lot to discuss.
First, we would like to bring up the City of Lapeer Mayoral race. The LCRP has vetted all 3 candidates and are choosing to support Jeramy Hing. Jeramy shares our views on issues affecting the City of Lapeer.Jeramy is a devoted Christian who dedicated 8 years to missionay work.Jeramy is a software engineer who, after returning from his missionary work, cofounded a non-profit helping survivors of human trafficking. His platform includes repairing city infrastructure before spending money on vanity projects, enforcing the city's exsiting marijuana odor ordaniances, addressing the increasing issue of homelesness and loytering in the city, and priortizing local businesses and the city's character. Please support Jeramy at his fundraising event on Monday, October 13th at Villa Milano (formerly Vinyl) from 5:30-7:30. Please be aware that we will be having a discussion on proposed changes to LCRP by-laws. A copy of the LCRP by-laws has been attached with changes in red for you to review for October's meeting.
The Lapeer County Republican Party is also hosting a pasta dinner fundraiser, November 8, 2025 from 4-7pm, at Deerfield Township Hall. See attached flyer for details or purchase tickets online at www.lapeergop.com.
