*Medical Examiner Identifies Victims in Beach Drive Incident in Poulsbo*
The decedents from the incident on Beach Drive in Kitsap County on Oct. 7, 2025, have been identified as:
* Richard Gaines, a 55-year-old male, and
* Marjorie Gaines, a 53-year-old female.
Both with Poulsbo addresses listed.
Autopsies have been performed by the Kitsap County Medical Examiner's Office.
Cause of death for Richard is gunshot wound to the head; manner of death is suicide.
Cause of death for Marjorie is gunshot wound to the head; manner is homicide.
