Hi, it's Abigail Spanberger. I just got off the debate stage here in Norfolk, Virginia, and I wanted you to hear this from me personally:

Tonight was a milestone for our campaign.

And yes, the hour on stage with Winsome Earle-Sears will lead the headlines tomorrow. But this election is bigger than that. It's our only chance to flip a Governor's office blue this year and stand up to the chaos coming out of the Trump Administration.

From my days as a federal law enforcement officer and then as a CIA officer, I worked to keep our country safe. Then I ran for Congress not for the title, but to improve people's lives. And in this race, I've shown that I will put Virginia first — always.

Now, the whole country is placing their hope in this team to win the biggest election of 2025 so we can set the tone for 2026, 2028, and beyond.

That's why I hope I can earn your support tonight.
