Dear A.,

The historic peace agreement announced last night by President Trump was realized because of America’s ironclad support for Israel throughout this war and the decades prior. As with the peace deals with Egypt, Jordan, and the Abraham Accords, a strong U.S.-Israel relationship was the foundation for this deal to be achieved.

We applaud President Trump, Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner for their leadership in working with Israel to broker this agreement.

Today, Republican and Democratic members of Congress embraced the Gaza peace plan and celebrated the impending return of the hostages. AIPAC is reposting their statements on our

House Speaker Mike Johnson : "This is a truly historic achievement — one that only President Trump could have delivered. Through strength and conviction, he’s accomplished what others have only talked about: bringing hostages home, security for Israel, and laying the groundwork for lasting peace in the Middle East."

-

House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries : "The peace agreement that has been reached is an extremely welcome development, freeing the remaining hostages and bringing an end to years of pain, suffering and destruction. It is my hope that phase one will be fully implemented, the hostages reunited with loved ones, sustained humanitarian relief surged into Gaza, [and] Hamas completely disarmed..."

Senate Majority Leader John Thune : "I am grateful for the news of the historic Israel-Gaza peace plan brokered by President Trump. My prayers today are for the successful release of all hostages, the success of this agreement, and the protection of all innocents in harm’s way."

-

Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer : "Finally, 732 days after Hamas’s horrific and vicious October 7th attack on Israel, and the following war in Gaza, a ceasefire and hostage agreement appears to have been reached. If implemented, finally, after two years of immense suffering, the hostages could soon be free, there could be a ceasefire, and the victims of this conflict can start to rebuild their lives."
President Trump

announced that he will be traveling to Israel this weekend and will be addressing the Knesset on Sunday. This will be the first time the Knesset is convened during Sukkot since Golda Meir took to the plenum to announce that the IDF had crossed the Suez in the 1973 War.

The
[link removed]
first phase of the peace plan includes the return of all remaining hostages, both the living and those murdered by Hamas, within 72 hours, and an immediate ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. A joint international group will be tasked with finding the murdered hostage bodies that cannot be found by Hamas in Gaza.

Israel will then release 250 Palestinian terrorists from Israeli prisons, including those responsible for murdering Israeli civilians, as well 1,700 detainees from Gaza. Israel has said it will not

hand over the bodies of Hamas arch-terrorists Yahya and Mohammed Sinwar nor Marwan Barghouti.

The Israeli military will pull back to an agreed-upon line inside the Gaza Strip, leaving the IDF in control of 53% of the territory, including all the border crossings. Aid will surge into Gaza, with between 400 to 600 trucks entering Gaza daily.
America and the world must be vigilant to ensure that Hamas implements the peace plan, including freeing the hostages, disarming, and leaving power.

Treasury Department imposes new sanctions on Iranian oil exports

The Treasury Department today announced that it is sanctioning 50 individuals, entities and vessels that facilitate oil and liquified petroleum gas (LPG) sales and shipments from Iran.

"These actors have collectively enabled the export of billions of dollars’ worth of petroleum and petroleum products, providing critical revenue to the Iranian regime and its support for terrorist groups that threaten the United States," the press release said.

"The Treasury Department is degrading Iran’s cash flow by dismantling key elements of Iran’s energy export machine. Under President Trump, this administration is disrupting the regime’s ability to fund terrorist groups that threaten the United States," Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent

Michigan Senate candidate fundraises off October 7 massacre, doesn’t mention Hamas

Anti-Israel Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed
[link removed]
sent out a fundraising email on Tuesday — the anniversary of the October 7 attack — condemning Israel and accusing our ally of "genocide," while failing to even mention Hamas' horrific massacre.

El-Sayed is raising money off of Hamas' atrocities instead of condemning the terror group and calling for the release of the hostages.

State Representative Noah Arbit said, "Abdul El-Sayed has demonstrated that he has a complete disregard not only for Israeli lives but for Jewish life, and completely disqualified himself," urging "Michiganders to reject this bigoted campaign."

El-Sayed is running in the Democratic primary against pro-Israel Rep. Haley Stevens.

Together, we must continue to ensure that being pro-Israel is both good policy and good politics.

Israel continues to confront Iran and its terror proxies

Israel continues to confront a multi-front war against Iran and its terrorist proxies across the region.

On Iran, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
[link removed]
warned in an interview that the regime is "developing intercontinental missiles with a range of 8,000 kilometers; add another 3,000 and they can get to the East Coast of the U.S." Meanwhile, Iran is working to rebuild its military arsenal devastated by Israel and restore its ballistic missile production.

In Yemen, on Tuesday, the Iran-backed Houthi terrorists again

launched attack drones at Israel. The Israeli Air Force shot down four of these drones over the southern Israeli city of Eilat in the span of an hour. And yesterday the IAF

shot down two more Houthi-launched attack drones.

In Gaza, as Israel and America continued negotiations with Hamas and its sponsors to secure the release of the hostages, terrorists

attacked an IDF position, attempting to seize additional hostages. At least three of the terrorists were killed.

In the West Bank, in a major development today, the Shin Bet announced it foiled an attempt by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps to

smuggle weapons to terrorists for attacks against Israelis (pictured below). "This shipment, like its predecessors, is part of an ongoing Iranian effort to undermine security in the region by arming terror cells on the ground whose purpose is to carry out attacks against Israelis and IDF troops," the agency said.
