While Donald Trump and the GOP shut down the government and push their dangerous agenda in Washington, Democratic governors in the states around the country are on the front lines – standing up, fighting back, and serving as the last line of defense between MAGA extremism and your fundamental rights and freedoms. Take a look:

- Gov. Gavin Newsom and Gov. Tina Kotek sued the Trump administration over their National Guard deployment in multiple cities – and won. And now, Gov. JB Pritzker is taking Trump to court over the same thing.
- Dem govs like Gov. Maura Healey and Gov. Wes Moore are protecting public health and vaccine access for millions of Americans.
- Gov. Andy Beshear and Gov. Josh Shapiro secured all of the funding that the Trump administration tried to halt from schools and public service agencies like Americorps.
