We know we’ve been messaging you a lot about John Hickenlooper’s must-win race in Colorado, but we wanted to share some numbers that will put things into perspective:

$48 MILLION. That’s the amount that Republicans spent trying to defeat John Hickenlooper in 2020. 

$600 MILLION. That’s how much Donald Trump has vowed to spend in the midterms next year to expand the Republican Senate majority and keep a tight grip on his power in Washington.

$27.31. That was John Hickenlooper’s average online contribution last month. 

Look, Democrats do have a path to winning the Senate majority next year, but it relies on protecting every single vulnerable incumbent AND flipping four more seats blue. That means we need to start campaigning hard – and we don’t have a minute to spare.

We can’t afford to make the mistake of thinking Colorado will easily stay blue. With so much on the line – from restoring reproductive freedom to protecting our public lands to expanding access to affordable health care – we all need to make sure we do everything we possibly can to put an end to the chaos plaguing our country with a Republican Senate majority. 

So here’s another number for you.
