Donald Trump has officially crossed a line that no president has ever crossed before. In a clear act of political revenge, he has directed his Department of Justice to indict New York Attorney General Tish James.

Trump’s actions are egregious and alarming, and the charges against AG James are baseless. Like his attacks on other people he perceives as enemies, this indictment is just the latest move in his ongoing witch hunt.
