When people can’t access affordable healthcare, they start skipping doctor visits, miss routine checkups, and let prescriptions lapse, all to save money and make ends meet.

Thanks to the cuts to Medicaid passed by the Republican majority and their refusal to extend vital Affordable Care Act tax credits, the impacts on the American people will be severe. Insurance premiums will double or more, rural hospitals will be forced to close, and millions of people will lose their health insurance.
