Trump just bragged that he “took the freedom of speech away”.
That’s fascism.
Trump is dismantling and disregarding our first amendment while our leaders are asleep at the wheel. Any Democrat who isn’t fighting this tooth and nail is complicit.
I’m running for Congress because I can’t sit on my hands and watch as Trump gets inches away from becoming a dictator. We need leaders who will treat this like the crisis it is, use every lever of power to protect our freedoms, and hold Trump accountable.
My generation has lived through crisis after crisis while politicians have told us to “wait our turn” and done nothing to solve our problems. We’re done waiting. We know what’s at stake here, and we know the urgency it demands.
If our leaders won’t fight for our freedom of speech, I will. But I need you with me.
