As you may have seen, Arizona Republicans like Warren Petersen are trying to blame Mark Kelly and Ruben Gallego for the government shutdown.

Let's be crystal clear about what this shutdown is about: making healthcare significantly more expensive for tens of millions of people. Pitch in $5 to make sure voters know the truth about the Republican shutdown.

Without the enhanced tax credits that Republicans refuse to extend, premiums will sharply increase for Americans who get insurance through the Affordable Care Act marketplace. 

The Congressional Budget Office estimates roughly 4 million people will lose coverage by the end of the year if these credits expire.

If that happens, 330,000 Arizonans could become uninsured over the next decade.

Arizona families will see their healthcare costs skyrocket, all because the Republicans controlling Congress and the White House refuse to negotiate.

While GOP Reps. Ciscomani, Biggs, and Crane stage political theater about turning down their paychecks, Arizona Democrats are fighting to protect the healthcare provisions that Arizona families depend on.
