Friend, as a dad with a few young kids, I know a tantrum when I see one.
And what's going on in DC with the government shutdown and Trump withholding funding from NYC? That's a grade-A crybaby throwing toys across the room because he didn't get his way.
But let's be frank: Trump and congressional Republicans want to cut healthcare for millions of Americans. Democrats refuse to go along. So now they're trying to put a gun to our head by cutting federal funding to NY.
It's nothing short of extortion B.S. This is how dictators behave — punish your opposition by making people suffer unless you capitulate to them. We can't stand for it.
